From your shoulders to your ankles and many joints in between, a joint replacement can be quite the event. We want to help reduce the swelling as quick as possible to help alleviate pain and get that new joint moving!

While being bionic looks cool on TV not many folks are excited about getting a new joint, but they are often hopeful for pain relief and improved function to get back to doing what they love. ​That is where the doctors of physical therapy at Adaptable PT can play a role and assist helping you reach your meaningful goals and improve post operative outcomes and satisfaction.

We love offering a couple of pre-op appointments to help you activate and find intentional control of your muscles around the joint you are planning to have surgical intervention on before the surgery making it easier to gain that same muscle activation after the trauma of surgery. Being able to get muscles to respond sooner leads to reduced swelling and quicker return of larger ranges of motion.
